Finders Keepers is an interactive art project in which I hide pieces of my work in the world for anyone to find. Published primarily on Instagram, this project is free for anyone to access and participate in. When hiding these objects, I document the process, post the video, and then based on those clues anyone is welcome to search for them. Since beginning this project in 2017, I have hidden over 120 objects in places as far away Spain, France, Japan, and in cities throughout Canada and the USA. This project is an effort to create a platform for publishing art that is free, interactive, and gives people the possibility of not only having a memorable real-life interaction with art, but also the possibility of owning a piece of art. Does this sound like something you’d be interested in participating in? It is as easy as following me on instagram @tombrowncreates, and watching every Saturday for the next iteration of Finders Keepers. Think you would like to hide an object in your city as a part of this project? Send me a message through the form below and we can discuss that possibility.
